Sorry if this has been done, but can someone summarize the differences between these 2 revolvers? I read in another forum that there is a weight difference - S&W website says they weigh the same? Thanks! [wink]

The PC625 is the custom shop version. It'll be hand-fitted, probably have some sort of competition grade barrel, etc.

?

I went to Smith's web site i find 625's a 625, 625JM and a mountain gun.

The 625 and the 625JM are practically the same except for the wood
grips and gold bead on the JM.

I didn't see a PC 625,,, ???? A friend of mine bought the JM I bought
the other, we could not find any differences except as noted.

Right now the 625 is only being sold as a performance center gun. I think their doing this to boost sales of the JM model and the 45 long Colt model.

The difference between the regular 625 and the new 625 performance center model is this.

It's Glass beaded, has a Gold bead interchangeable front sight, and you also get a performance center rug case.

I would rather have a used 625 pre-lock than one of those.
