Ruger 11/22

I have to zero the rifle at 25M for the shoot so I'll foul the barrel before I bring it to the event. I also have to lose the bipod, imagine, they actually want me to support my own rifle while shooting it. Should be a good time. Hope to learn a few things.
They will teach you how to use a sling and how to use bone support

Im going to say no.
My 10/22 factory barrel , titan stock , Tenex and CCI SV ammo was 1.5” on a good day at 50 yards. Added a KIDD heavy barrel and 1/2” groups at 50 yards are the norm.
I'm not saying they are tack drivers from the factory, but they're pretty accurate. Of course with a couple of mods they can be much better.

Depends upon the ammo. 40gr 1100fps should be very close to 25/50. Aguila se at 1200 is more like 30/50.
Eh even at 1100 fps its still not a cross over zero, HV 1200fps + your getting closer. I know its not much 1050 match ammo its like .75” drop 1250 HV stuff its like 1/8 or so drop? Thats if your even getting those velocities. I know im splitting hairs.
How about we agree on, know your zeros and come ups, lol

Now if you want a PBR for 22lr on say a 4-5” target maybe 75 yard zero?

Eh , I dont see the point? You dont have to clean a 10/22 all that often. Also there is the added optic and sight issues.

Im wondering why ruger never made a nice match sight set up for the 10/22
80 year old match sights on my 10/22 and a modern scope on my 80 year old 22 rifle- which still out shoots the 10/22 with KIDD barrel
