So I was really surprised today to hear at the range that within Boston-proper, "extra" rules apply, specifically ones that could forbid me from owning my AR if I move there. Sure enough, I checked it out here:

And there *are* extra Boston rules. So, my question for all of you- is it as bleak as it looks? Should I not even bother looking for apt.s in Boston, or are exceptions granted often?
And do please try to give me objective answers based on laws and experience, not general hatred for the anti's
