"The Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association & MPI will host a Firearms Legal Update Seminar at the Boxborough Holiday Inn on Wednesday, April 19, 2006. The seminar will be instructed by Chief Glidden.
In addition to regular updated firearms licensing and enforcement information
sharing, we will be discussing some major changes with regards to the "Reason
For Issuance" wording on the LTC changing to "Restrictions" and the implications
of that change. We will also be discussing some proposed definitions for
"restrictions" that will become part of the MIRCS system. We will also be
discussing the ongoing issues with the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004, as well as other state and federal firearms issues."
