I have no experience repairing rods, only the second one ive broken the tip off. It was a big bass, didnt grab a pic though [sad2]

There are many places that sell tips, Cabelas has a whole catalog just on rod building. Any large tackle shop will have some on hand, they come in many eye and blank sizes. RedTop down at the canal will put one on while you wait unless they are swamped, I don't know much about your neck of the woods.

Best thing to do is bring it to a place that sells tips they'll fit it, and then just heat a glue stick up with a lighter and put it on. Codi's fly shop in Spencer will have it. They also have a HUGE selection of rod making stuff.

See Kate at Surfland Bait & Tackle - Plum Island/Newbury MA - bring the rod in and they can fit a tip. Action to rod will change depending on how much broke off.

You should be able to buy the top eyes pretty much anywhere.
I think they come in three packs, three different sizes...

Depending where the break is, your rod now is less sensitive.
