Hunter Education at Rod & Gun of New Bedford

RGNB will offer a Basic Hunter Ed class on March 9, 2024. This will be a "Blended Class" meaning that the reading assignments must be completed online before the hands on portion. The practical including final exam will be completed on Saturday, March 9. To enroll, go to Basic Hunter Education courses | Mass.gov and follow the instructions on that site. There is no cost for this course. There is no age limit although children under the age of 12 may struggle with some of the reading assignments.

If the average MA resident is anything like my "LTC class" classmates 20-something years ago, some over 12 might struggle with the reading as well. LOL

No.. just 12 to hunt in MA. My son took the CT course when he was 11, so he could start hunting on his bday
