Please vote this gun issue question with USA Today. It will only take a few
seconds of your time. Then pass the link on to all the pro gun folks you know.
Hopefully these results will be published later this
month. This upcoming year will become critical for gun owners with the Supreme
Court accepting the District of Columbia case against the right for individuals
to bear arms. No input info is required other than the vote.

First - vote on this one.
Second - launch it to all the pro-gun folks and have THEM vote - then we will
see if the results get published.

Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms?

I saw this in another forum recently.

I voted no.

The Second Amendment doesn't give any rights to bear arms or to organize militias, or whatever the text says. The rights are unalienable and are endowed from our Creator. The Second Amendment simply recognizes this.

Maybe I should have voted yes, but the survey question says "gives", which kind of put me off.

I can't get to the poll, just a pop-up with the results. Maybe I already voted on it.
I did want to pass it along, though, to about 20 other people.
