where is says reasons requesting for issuance of card or license , what should i put for target and collecting machine guns in a better sentece any ideas?

I put "Collector/Testing" on the application.

When issued, my previous ones (the laminated paper version said that) the newer plastic card just says "Collector" under the restrictions entry on the front.

It can only be issued to you as a collector unless you meet other criteria specified in the law so collector should do.

FGABF is correct, but I would put "Bona Fide Collector" to be IAW Mass law.

Only if your goal is to make a political statement rather than get the license. Protection is not one of the statutorily authorized reasons for issuance of a MG license in MA.

I chuckled. As others have said Collector is typically the reason for us common folk.

I have also heard that using a NFA weapon of any sort is not a good idea for self defense, might as well use a 870 and look "normal" in court.... I always thought it was " bona Fide Collector" or Instructor........

Is the application as a bona fide collector in addition to a current LTC A or does one apply when renewing??

LTC and MG License are two SEPARATE items, with separate fees.

Same form can be used for both however.
