The Harrisburg police chief has put the city's more than 160 officers on a mission to track down a weapon that was stolen from an officer's personal car on Monday evening.
Officer Jenny Jenkins is now assigned to desk duty while the department investigates the theft of her semiautomatic handgun.
Monday was the second time Jenkins' police-issued handgun was taken.
The weapon, along with the holster and service belt, which contained a police radio, two clips of ammunition, handcuffs, mace and a night stick, were taken from her personal car.....
