P365 sas takedown jammed

I’ve tried putting the fcu back in the frame and it didn’t help. The takedown moves fine without the rod hooked to it. Any ideas on what could be jamming it? I’ve taken the takedown, slide lock and the spring out and reinstalled them and it did nothing. The slide lock fell out which is what caused all this. I put a pic to show what it looks like now.

I’ve tried that. If I do it then the takedown won’t move at all. Doesn’t matter if the FCU is in the frame or not.

Does the SAS work like the regular, in that you have to push up on the slide lock to fully move the takedown pin?

Yes it does. I can get the rod to move with the takedown like it’s supposed to. Problem is to do this the rod won’t stay on unless I hold it and if I put it in the frame the rod sticks out to far from the FCU and won’t drop in like to should.
