Isn't it kind of hypcrital that students will walk out in support of the columbine shooting that happened 19 years ago but for the last 19 years nobody gave a crap?

During the hallway rush

School Security:
SRO responded immediately to apprehend shooter

Shooting:
One shot, pellets under door hit another kid’s ankle

Analysis:
Does not fit the Assault Weapons, High-Capcity Magazine basis
Shotgun hard to equate with semi-automatic weapons of war basis
Poor entry control but fast SRO response fits need for more armed security but can be twisted into ineffectiveness of armed security
Event will be counted in “School shootings in 2018” and “2200 gun violence victims of one shot fired” calculation but media is struggling to find an angle other than the event happened on School Walkout Day.
