NY bill to require mental health check for gun purchase

Are they going to use the same "mental health Professionals" who declare molesters and murderers to be Rehabilitated and then recommend their release and then have them go on to commit the same crime again? I have a couple of inlaws who are mental health pros. They are bat sh...t crazy themselves.
