I picked this up sometime last year from a NES member. Of all my WWII bolt action milsurps I love shooting this one the most.
Went and researched more about it since this always looked like a sniper model to me and found that it was slated to become one. It's one of the 'less telescope' rifles that never got to have a scope fitted but they were selected for their accuracy and whatnot. Why? I don't know, still learning. Probably ran out of scopes, who knows.
I managed to get my hands on an authentic scope and shipped it out to the best guy to handle Enfields in the US to be fitted and to go over the rifle and after months of waiting, it's home!
Can't wait to try it out now with the scope
Here is is now all cleaned up and greased with linseed oil soaked into the wood!
