NH Police Seek Armored SWAT Vehicle to Combat Peaceful Libertarians

To those looking to disable large moving objects similar to Bearcats,, a little "out of the box" thinking is needed here, ALL military type vehicles have tow hooks, which can be used to secure said vehicle from moving. Do we need a picture here??

I had not thought of that approach yet. Well done.

They also have U joints. You'd be amazed how infrequently people look under their vehicles to check for obstructions.

They also make cordless cutoff wheels and angle grinders. U joints and drive shafts aren't fond of those either.

Good if it is parked and unattended, not sure how likely that would be especially if times went bad. Attaching a cable to a hook takes a couple of seconds plus someone with the balls to do so (could get caught or shot).

I'm picturing a scene from American Graffiti....

If you talking about a stationary vehicle and getting close enough to screw with the u-joints. You might as well just put a redbull can full of thermite on the hood and really disable it. Just use some permanganate and glycerin to ignite it so you have time to get out of dodge.

Anyone up for a little " Panzerkreigsfuhrung "

This is true, just not sure how many people are stockpiling rust and aluminum powder.

Cannon fuse or sparklers will also work just fine.

Also bullet resistant glass will only stop so many rounds. Keep pounding rounds at the driver. He'll get scared the wider those cracks get plus it will significantly obstruct his view.
