Made the mistake of going to Marlboro.

Digital camera is dead so it's this model with reddish wood grip panels instead of the black ones.

There goes any purchasing of anything other than food or water for the next three months.

Real nice is that the PD model if so does it have a safety on both sides.

It doesn't have an ambidextrous safety, nor did I really want one. I'm really not sure if it is a PD model. All the rail models on the SW site are listed under the PD group of models, but it doesn't specifically say 1911PD anywhere on the gun.

Reason I asked if it was ambidertrous Im left handed and heard some of these SW 1911 are ambid. thanks real nice gun.

The Target and performance center models are ambi, most carry fixed sight models are not.

I think the scandium 1911PD railed gun is ambidextrous.

FWIW,

I don't like 1911's (I know, I know...) and I think that gun is sharp.
