You can't reply to sale ads, you can IM or email the sellers/buyers but you can't reply directly to the threads....eliminates clutter and silly comments.

Got to be quick with the trigger in the classifieds - if its a good deal, hard to find item, or just plain cool...the stuff moves quick. Don't think about it too long as you will lose out more then often.
