What's with the new feature of 5 or so posts that show below the reply to thread option?

Thanks Shorty. Is there some rhyme or reason behind the selection of those 5 article titles?

The board runs a search against the thread title for similarly named threads.

The goal is to try and avoid duplicate threads, we’ll see if it helps at all.
