Here is the newest member to the family. 1941 BYF Mauser k98. Typical Russian capture. Very good/excellent bore. All of the markings are intact.

Technically an August acquisition, but since I didn't get to shoot her until today, I held off on pics.

She is still a bit dirty (literally just shot her!). Its an LWRC PSD, Eotech EXPS3 on a quick release, KNS non rotational pins.

Look for some sound deadening in the not so distant future as well!

ETA- anyone have an extra HK Thread Protector they want to part with? Has to be for the Tactical as the barrel is left hand thread. Shot in the dark, but figured I'd ask.

Mauser 90 DA Compact in 9mm Luger.
Likely made by FEG in Hungary with Mauser only licensing the brand name.
It came from an estate and is in brand new condition, price was just a fraction
of what it was when sold new.
Trigger is creeping and scratching and pull weight appears to be at least 6 lbs.,
time for a trigger job.

Finally put it all together.
LaRue 18 Inch Stealth Upper
LMT Lower
US Optics SN-3 1.8-10x JNG Reticle
Troy BUIS
LaRue Mount
Harris Bipod

Looks an awful lot like an S&W 5906

Nice rifle. Too bad you had to use crappy LaRue hardware and crappy US Optics glass. In case you couldn't tell, I'M JUST KIDDING! Sweet!

Some really nice stuff guys - loving the AR's posted and that safe is great. Got to love the Colt with paperwork/box.

I acquired this Taurus PT92 AFS "Combat" last week and thought I'd show it off. The light parkerized matte stainless finish is really unique and understated just how I like my guns[wink]..not only that, it is a fantastic shooter.

These will stay in doors for a while, probably make their way outside next spring when I get a couple of poles for 'em.

Fixed! Thanks for the heads up Vic [wink]

and spelling is one of mine [wink]

Incomplete sentences are a pet peeve of mine. (I can play, too!)

To keep mildly on topic, I decided that shooting was a really expensive hobby, so I figured I'd find a nice, cheap one to compliment it. I purchased a Nikon D80 DSLR with the kit 18-55mm lens last month off a coworker, and this month I bought a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8.

So, like I said, a nice, cheap hobby. [smile]
