Hey Guys,

A buddy of mine inherited this Revolver from his father when he passed, and he asked me what it was... And I have No bloody clue. I did some Google-Fu, and thought it was a British Bulldog No.2, but this gun is made by W.C. Scott and sons, and the Bulldog is made by Webley and Scott. And yes, I know Webley bought out W.C. Scott, but Webley made the bulldog? Also, its missing the Markings that the bulldog is suppose to have. So I'm Clueless. Any help would be appreciated!

I've never seen one, but a little Google leads me to British Bulldog Revolver. Belgian made solid frame .44 caliber gun like this was used to assassinate President Garfield.

When the bull dog came out it turned out to be a very nice revolver, and everyone wanted one.American,Belgian, and many British companies started to make copies of these guns using the Bull- dog name. You can see that the bull dog name will be marked with BULL-DOG, BULL DOG, OR bull dog.

Pretty sure it is a variant of the British Bull Dog http://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/2010/11/29/p-webley-son-british-bull-dog/

"the Scott" is the brand name of a Bull Dog variant by W & C Scott & Sons.
