Need help Identify ammo.

All please help. I got this ammo in a trade. It was supposed to be 7.62 x51.. but it isn’t.
attached are some pics along with 7.62x51 and 7.62x54. I have a bunch that are loaded onto what look like garland clips.. note the correct use of the term clip here!

Looks like 30-06 to me, a quick google search of the markings on the box told me that this ammo was produced by Austria to use in their M1 Garands post WW2. The “GM1” designated that ammo for use in M1 rifles.

Box looks like 308/7.62 NATO possible? German ?

If it was loaded on Garand clips, I'd say .30-06. But since they appear to be "Garland" clips, maybe something wedding planners would shoot?

Don't use that as identification. I bought a bunch of clipped ammo and a bunch was 7mm.

On Garand style clips? What rifle were they for? (if you found out).
