Picked up am Mtac as a beginner variable power scope to learn on. Will be shooting at 100, 200 and 300 yards. Originally I was going to get a 50yard zero, however with the reticle I will be using the BDC.. Iron sights will be set for 50/200.

Looking at the detail picture on the website it shows the 5 dots and a measurement in MOA. at 100yd you have zero moa, 200 1.1 moa, and so on. Is this representing the size of the dot at that distance? So at 200 Yards the dot given represents about 2.2 inches on your target? Or is the MOA given the measurement of bullet drop its compensating for between distances?

Maybe someone has a good informational video on it...
