Milsurps for cheap $$$$

well, when it rains it pours!! so somebody calls and says " hay AL do you buy
guns" it was an elderly Aunt! so i say" yes Aunty i do" so she says" well a
friend of mine has a son who just cleand out his Fathers house in Florida and
there are all these guns that he wants to sell cause his wife will not allow him
to bring them in the house!! so he has been driving around with them in the trunk of his car! since last September"!! OH YEA it gets better, he thinks
thay have somthing to do with the CIVIL WAR ! there go,s my blood preasure
so off i go to lexington to Auntys house where there laid out on the living room floor! and i meet the guy who says" a guy at work bought one off him
that had somthing to do with the Revolutionary war he thought and he wanted this other one but the guy has been paying him a few bucks at
a time so he didn,t want do things like that!! so i said "how much are you
looking for????? he says Make me an offer! i says would you take a
thousand dollars for the lot??? i would be thrilled he says!!!! and he was!!!
and so was I and so was I one was a 58Cal 1863 contract musket that said
made for Massachussets on the Lock-plate another was a Beautifull Spencer
Carbine then a excelant shape French Chasepot Needle Gun and then a Belgan
20Ga side lever (junk) an old Italian 91 i think? a repro 58 Zouave a repro
50 cal Pedersoli single shot pistol and a good looking TOY 92 Winchester!
oh and my aunt brought up the Bayonet for the 1863 musket that he found
in his trunk and told her to tell me how glad he was to get rid of his gun
problem!! im gld to and i think im going to send his Wife a Dozen long-stem
roses!!!!!!!!! and yes i slept well that night!!

Thanks for the comments! these are verry early milsurps and if i had not bought them " right " i would never have been able to aford any of them!!
so sometimes things just Happen out of the blue, i do wish that the flyers
would have some differant things in them it seems thay just reprint the same stuff on differant pages! OH i NEED A GUN SHOW BAD !!!

Millies for cheap

W.B. I wish i had the knowhow and camara to put them on! HY-Tec to me
when i was a kid was wrapping copper wire around a tolet paper tube
buying a ( Cats-Wisker )and Cristal, mounting it on a board and having a cristal radio to listen to, with Surplus U.S. Issue head-phones. that was
a Boy Scout prodject! i will have to take a course this fall on all this stuff
i am going to have a lot of free time then. S.D.
