I'm winding down my teaching in MA, as I'll be permanently escaping to NH early in 2019, so if you know anyone "thinking about" taking a course, now is the time to jump in.

I expect that it will take me some time to establish a location in NH to continue the teaching business.

Will you be teaching the MA content in NH?

    Yes, but . . .

I looked up a couple of gun clubs and they rent out the clubhouse for $200-400! When you charge $90/student for a class with 1-2 students on average you really can't pay someone a lot of money to use the facility. Even in MA, a lot of clubs won't let you teach or they have one favored instructor and allow no others.

So it is going to take some time to find a location that is very reasonable in cost.

I could not possibly remember 6 hours worth of training.

    Are any printed materials provided?

Nobody is expected to memorize the material. Swatgig printed up all the Mass gun laws some years ago (before the 2014 changes) and it was 250 pages in total. 2014 added/subtracted (mostly added) >100 paragraphs.

As soon as I announced this seminar, the owner of a large firearms school asked for a copy of the slides. I have no doubts what he intended to do with them. It took me 6 months to create the seminar and it is based on >40 yrs of following Mass gun laws, talking with legislators, every director of the Firearms Records Bureau since it was created, etc.

The slides get updated when there are significant changes to be made and what is in the material today is different than what was in the material some years ago (>30 revisions of the slide deck over the 7 + years since I created it). No way I want old and no longer accurate (due to court cases, law changes, "interpretation" changes, etc.) info floating around out there.

So no, the only material I hand out is a cheat sheet with most of the acronyms used in Mass gun law. It's up to the student to take notes on things that are pertinent to him/her.
