Mass Arms Sales since 2006 268% Increase

It's the same Gen 2 Glocks being sold over and over in the NES classifieds. :p

It would be more interesting to see the number of unique serial numbers in their database over time.

It would be a hoot to see S&W make a fancy one-off, custom engraved presentation pistol for Deval, and then see him decline to accept it because he doesn't have an LTC.

Come one now. The guy is a hypocrite, but not stupid. I bet he's had a class A unrestricted ever since he first applied. Even though Milton's policy is to restrict first time applicants...

It'd be better if he did accept it and didn't have an LTC.

As of mid February, a bit over 300,000 LTC's 35,000 FIDs and 16,000 Chemical repellent only restricted FIDs.

Assume 1/2 are fudds.

WHY CANT OUR VOTES MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

(I am not yelling at you, personally)

Can someone take this report and remind Bacon Hill we are a large constituency?

Is he claiming his home in Milton or the one in Richmond (Western MA) as his primary residence ???

The really cool thing is this is just transactions, and it builds up nicely when you add them up year over year.

Happy to have been a part of this, except giving those .gov shitstains their 6.25% sales tax for them.
Not if you bought on tax free weekend.[smile]

Don't tell that to the Brady Bunch:

They said it was a lie and it's the same old people hoarding!

284,000 are Class A.

That's about 5.5% of eligible adults in the state.

I distinctly remember a number of 325k licensees in MA as of a year ago. The story was on WBUR that quoted that number and I don't remember it if they were talking about all licenses or just LTCs.

Be curious to know the real number. I added 11 in 2013 and only 2 would appear on that chart as being bought at a LGS.

It also says transfers through dealers.

Essentially that's the net new, legally transferred guns in the state.

I hope this link works. This is a link to a Google Fusion map from a Patriot ledger article showing Class A licenses by city/town up to 2012. It takes a while to load but is pretty neat. The numbers are interesting especially since they do not count FID and LTC B.

Here is a link to the whole article stating 271,000 class A's in 2012

Very cool. Thanks for posting that.

Looks like my town has a pretty high number of licenses - at least compared to most of the other towns in the area.
