Man charges at pharmacy with hammer, $1,000 reward offered for arrest
Biddeford Police are looking for the man they say robbed a Rite Aid earlier this month with a hammer, and they're releasing new photos of the suspect caught in the act, as well as offering a reward.
Police say the robbery happened at the drug store on Alfred Street on June 8. Investigators say the man entered the store, lingered a few minutes, then charged at the pharmacy with a hammer and demanded prescription drugs. The suspect made off with an unknown amount of drugs.
Police think the suspect may be the same person who robbed a Rite Aid in Westbrook last Saturday.
A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest. Anyone who thinks they have information is asked to call Biddeford PD at 282-5127.
