This has been a good year for birds. Nice pics.
When I saw the one of the outhouse and the sign & arrow saying "toilet", I said to myself "No shit".

We hunted the Great North Woods of Maine North, Northwest of Rockwood and came home via Jackman Rt 202 today.

Nice pics, especially the moose. We were up in Jackman last week and had a blast. Did not find as many grouse as we hoped, but there were a good amount of woodcock so we had plenty of dog work and shooting. Maine is a great place for outdoorsmen.

Hunted NH, I didn't have as much luck as you but found 3 Grouse and 1 woodcock about 5 hours of searching.

I just got back from grouse hunting in Maine. I was in the Burlington/Lincoln/Penobscot area.

Out of 5 guys & two days of hunting, we only managed two grouse. Still a great time though.

I was out in upstate new york a few weeks ago scouting for deer and we saw at least 10 grouse in one day and we were not even looking for them
