M&P sights wonky?

I will say that before my trigger job I didn't shoot my 9 much, but with the nice weather coming I will be shooting it much more.

This is from the M&P 9 Manual

“Plus-P-Plus (+P+) ammunition must not be used in Smith &
Wesson firearms. This marking on the ammunition designates
that it exceeds established industry standards, but the designation
does not represent defined pressure limits and therefore such
ammunition may vary significantly as to the pressures generated.

I like testing things.

It's pure lawyerism to cover their ass. Almost nobody "authorizes" +P+ in the specs because there is no SAAMI spec for +P+.

The reality is most +P+ 9mm that's commercially produced isn't that hot in relative terms. It's usually only a few percent hotter than +P is.

Most of the +P+ on the market is still way lower pressure than things like 9mm Hirtenbirger or some of the UZI SMG ammo that was floating around years ago, and modern handguns eat that stuff just fine. It takes a lot of effort to blow up a modern 9mm handgun.
