m&p sights needs new white paint...

the white crap that smith puts in their sight alignment dots has popped out of my shield and the 2 compacts i own. i read somewhere this was a common problem. i've tried painting them in with florescent paint but thats useless, can't see the dots. i'm thinking of dabbing in some of that pearl white nail polish next. will get around to installing fiber optics but is a little pricey to do all three at once. any suggestions in the meantime?

I've used the white enamel model paint.
Take a small artist brush and trim it with sissors to a fine point.
The paint seems to hold up well.

That happened to my first Shield. I brought it over to S&W, they fixed it and threw in a spare mag for the trouble...

S&W will probably send you replacement sights if you call them.

The dots on the M&P don't line up with anything, this is a perfect opportunity to replace them with something like this:
