Last year after waiting 2 months, I called the state, they had said that they had sent it out 3 weeks earlier. I called the PD, they said they didn't have it. I'm friends with the licensing officer, so I called him, he checked the Inbox and it was sitting there. No one had seen it

Back in 2014 I had called the DCJIS a little over 60 days after my appointment with the Licensing Officer at my local PD. They told me the license had been approved and sent to the PD approximately a month prior. That afternoon I sent an email to the Licensing Officer asking about the status and received a response later that day saying the License was ready for pickup and had been waiting for MSP fingerprint check. So I am guessing that if I hadn't questioned it they probably wouldn't have called me any time soon.
