Sorry for your loss. My father in law was also stationed in Japan post VJ Day and may have served with your dad. There are more and more of the Greatest Generation that leave us every day, may their memory and examples of selfless service and quiet endurance serve to sustain US in the trying times ahead.
Sorry for your loss. My dad was only a few months older. It's never an easy thing.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I know how tough it is to deal with. we lost my Dad 2 weeks ago today and are dealing with the minutae of his passing.

I feel your loss, I buried my mother today who was 100 years old. She was a remarkable woman who drove until she was 98 and lived in her own house until she 99. I will miss her every day.
