My father a WW2 veteran left us today. He was a Sergeant in the Air Force and was stationed in Japan after the bomb dropped. He survived prostate cancer, a double bypass, diabetes, and putting up with my shit for 25 years. He was on dialysis for a few months and after catching pneumonia decided to stop treatment. The last day he was conscious he told my sister it would take him 3 days to die which it did, and couldn't be more glad it was on Patriots Day.

RIP Frederick R. Herrmann (Dad) 11/13/26-4/18/2011
