i picked up my flattop m4 style bushmaster today, and i wanted to get a ACOG for it. ive seen infantry use it before, and i dont remember hearing to many complaints about it.

this is the one that they use if i can remember correctly. this would be the marine corps m4 version of it. the price on the trijicon website says $1,450 which is on the high side.
however http://www.opticsplanet.net/trijicon-ta31rco-m4-acog-4x32-usmc-sight-m4-w-ta51-mount.html has it for about $1,230. does anyone have any experiance in getting optics from this website? does anyone know where i could go to maybe even get one in person?
anyhelp greatly appreciated, i want to get the iron sights as backup only, and not my primary way to aim

the infantry guys that were stationed in kosovo had them, but the combat engineers were stuck with the iron sights..
now its my turn i think to get one

Hey, long time lurker here, thought I'd chime in on opticsplanet. I don't know much about this particular ACOG, but I've dealt with Opticsplanet before and I've never had a problem. Their prices are the lowest I've found and their customer service folks are know their stuff. I would definately recommend buying from them. They helped me pick out my newest pair of hunting binoculars and I was very pleased with the result. They carry a lot of cheap optics but they also carry a lot of high end, quality optics as well. The leupold selection is pretty good. Hope this helps.

ACOG on its way. ill post some pics up when i get it.
thanks for all the advice
