Looking for Range Officer course

Does anyone know where I can find an NRA Range Officers course. The closest I've found on the NRA site is New Jersey. I took it YEARS ago by mail, but let it lapse.

My background is NRA Certified Pistol instructor for over 20 years.

I don't see any on the schedule but you contact GOAL. Jon Green (JGreen on NES) may know of one that is scheduled. The next is to contact Ken Maurer (NES name KMaurer). He ran one recently at the Westford Sportsmens club, I'm not sure if he has anymore scheduled.

NRA Finally processed my paperwork, and I got my Shotgun Instructor Certification. Even before the "official" paperwork got here, I'd ordered the RSO course!



AFAIK, only the RSO and Reloading courses can be done correspondence-wise.

Read the book, took the test. Mailed out this morning. I think I passed, but the way some of the wording in some of the questions was makes me wonder.

I agree that a couple of the questions could have been worded better.....mine hits the mail tomorrow....good luck to you!

I saw by my bank statement that the NRA had finally cashed my check. I shot them an email today just ask on the status of my application. An hour later guess what shows up in the mail? Yup, officially an NRA RSO. Took about 6 weeks, from me mailing it out until I received it. No complaints.

Congratulations. Few people bother to take the time and mane the effort to get the RSO. We need more of them.
