This is a cross between the MilSurp group and the radio group... thought i'd try here too...
Its a 1990's era field phone. It requires custom switch gear to work, but from what i hear, it can work between two phones without any custom hardware....
Otherwise known as the TA-1042...
I have one but they aren't really that useful in singles without the switch gear.
In pairs they can talk to each other from what i hear.
