I guess a question is... what are you going to use it for - range fun, hunting, competition,,,,?

An 308 AR/AR10 can be more accurate, but I get more personal enjoyment out of my old M1A.

The AR10 is not a named gun in the notice either, and doesn't share parts, magazine, or magwell.

I have a PTR, but the trigger is abysmal, the LOP too short for someone of my size, and the "hump" way too close to my cheekbone. ("Too close" == "in contact with," given a proper cheek weld.) I'd be much, much happier if I could find someone to transfer me an AR10 pattern rifle.

(Or, at worst, if someone had readily available 6.5 Creedmoor conversions for a PTR.)

Yeah I believe it meets the similarity test...wish we could!
