Have a LCR in 357
Trying to research the possibility of shooting 9mm considering it comes in a 9mm option
Both frames are stainless
So far my understanding is they use moon clips to secure the round in the cylinder
Has anyone done this

Even if you had the cylinder milled for moon clips, the chamber isn't meant for 9mm and relying on the moon clip to headspace in a Ruger I've found to be a recipe for light strikes in my .45 Colt/45 ACP Redhawk and I've tried aftermarket clips too.

U want a 9mm LCR, buy it. Better yet, buy the Taurus, it's half the price.
