I have one for my sig P245. Very cool, Fun to play with. I think I'm
going to sell mine because I don't think I need it with my night sights.
(Anyone care to show me the error of my ways?). The product itself is a
nice example of clever engineering and works great. The $300 question is
"Does it add any value to *you*?". If so, get it.
There have been reports of them breaking and jamming the gun. Not alot, but enough for me to keep away from them. I prefer my guide rods to be solid. I prefer Crimson Trace for that reason.
That said, night sights don't replace lasers. Lasers are a good training tool and are good for shooting when you can not get a traditional sight picture.
They are great if you have cats. The cats love to chase the beam around the room (Dogs are smarter ) Other than that, I have never seen a good use for them. But what do I know, I have a dog.
