JL Billet Kali-Key Bolt Action AR-15 Charging Handle

Interesting concept, and cheap.

It is an interesting concept, especially as it would be adaptable to any AR upper. It isn't cheaper than not drilling a gas port in the barrel, and not installing a gas tube. Price is certainly in line with other upgraded from original charging handles.

This. Install gas block backwards or an adjustable gas block turned all the way off and you get the same effect.

I built my .458 SOCOM as a bolt action rifle using a reciprocating side-charging upper with this BCG in mind: https://www.lantac-usa.com/single-post/2018/03/12/LANTAC-Straight-Pull-Manual-E-BCG I'm still waiting for Lantac to ship it, though. I ordered it back at the beginning of May.

What about MA?

I checked with Ma. She said no. But she's a Democrat.

(Assume it's a BF NO here. How a bolt-action BCG-and-charging-handle is gonna get you a collapsable stock???? What else are we really looking for on an AR these days??? Bayo lug????)

How permanent is the red, non removable loctite that they want you to use on the screws to bolt this to your BCG?

I admit I’m no fan of an AR, but I think a neutered AR like this is just dumb.

If you want a bolt action, get a bolt action. it’s designed to work that way. This gets you an odd non ergonomic thing that looks like an AR in your safe so you can fool yourself.

Anyway, that’s my opinion. Get it if you want,I’ll pass

It is considered permanent. I would use blue and/or plan on the BCG being dedicated to the Kali-Key.
