Great stages yesterday. Lost of open area to move which is always fun. Got my holster issues that have been plaguing me for the last few matches sorted out and finally was able to shoot a clean match again! I do have a good blooper video from stage one. I'll post it later. I should have stayed away from the hot dogs - they blew my concentration.
Thanks for another great match guys!
Thanks Dave. You also did well. Looking at the list, there was some seriously stiff compeition in production with so many great shooters yesterday.
20 people in Production... pretty awesome turn out.
I used my G17 and shot production instead of the 1911 for the first time. I was surprised I could reach those steel on stage 6 with such tiny bullets.
They didn't want to get their "good" guns wet! I've shot my 21" Benelli at trap, big mag and all, because I didn't want to get my O/U wet.
As promised my blooper on stage one. Yep, I forgot to reload... Let the flaming begin.

Stages two, three, and six were better though.

Oh my God, Dan. I shoot my k80 in any and all weather.
The "good" gun is way easier and quicker to clean than any of the autos.
the over under is made to get wet. you wipe it off, and stick it upside down in the rack and let it drip dry, then clean it up.

Minimum cal in limited division is .40 which is what I'm shooting.
Nice job Matt,
Your transitions on to the steel is quick.
On stage 1.
Other than forgetting to reload, If you took the 4th target before shooting through the barrel, it would have saved you a little time since you had to tranisition back to it and when you came over to the right side, shoot the paper, then the steel. Having to kneel then stand cost alot of time when you could have shot the paper coming in, then the steel
That's interesting... I didn't think of that at all either although I didn't really kneel. I also engaged the steel from the left side. I shot production and had to do a few reloads.... Here's mine:

I wish I had the skills to engage the first targets Matt did on the move to the barrel... sweet!
Whether you kneel or not. its an extra stop that you didn't need. The last position has 10 shots,6 paper, 4 steel. haul ass the corner, shot the paper coming in, stopping where you shot under the NS
