Now is a great time of the year to get out to explore areas you might be interested in hunting. The snow pack is getting easier to hike through, and you can dress lightly for the warming temps. You'll still be able to easily detect animal activity in the remaining snow (the light coating of snow we got recently made for some perfectly formed tracks of prints). With the leaves off the trees, you can get a better view of the surrounding terrain. And best of all, no bugs!
