Taurus has a spotty reputation for fit, finish, and overall smoothness. May not be as big a missed opportunity as you might think.

Carl stopped carrying Taurus before the AG regs because of all the trouble he had getting warranty work done.

It comes with 5 1/4" barrel, 15 round mags, and a light rail. That has (had) nightstand safe written all over it. It would be worth working the bugs out of it for me.
