I'd like to support the site by joining as a vendor. But I'd rather pay using GUNPAL.

Gunpal operates like PayPal but they don't discriminate against second amendment supporters. Using PayPal to pay for gun related items could get your PayPal account shut down. Gunpal's good to go for buying/selling anything legal, gun related or not.

What do you think, can it be added here as a payment option?

It will be as soon as they modify a vB build for subscriptions. They are close but not there yet.

Just send Derek a check.

My company uses Paypal for our firearms training. When we set up our account, there was not a word from Paypal about the nature of our business.

I've read alot about this and I do not believe that Paypal has taken an anti-gun stance. When they say is more along the lines of protecting themselves from liability and that I can understand. I have no issues with using them. The vast majority of our students use Paypal or have accounts. In the 3 years we've been in business, I have only heard from one person that they did not want to use Paypal.

For guys like you and me they have no issue because we are not selling guns and using PP.

However they will F with you pretty bad if they find out you are paying for a firearm or ammo using PP. This is right from their page.

Call it liability protection or not. I've never heard of a credit card company being sued because a bad guy bought a firearm with a credit card.

Just because no one has been sued yet doesnt mean it can't happen. As a business owner, I can understand their hesitation.

I don't allow live ammo in my classroom. Does that mean I'm anti-gun? No, its a liability issue.

Really? They allow you to buy a car, a swimming pool, and sporting equipment...

If anything is a liability those items are worse than firearms, would you like me to provide statistics to back up the probabilities of bodily injury of the items I mentioned versus firearms?

They are anti-gun.

Not to mention how they just tried F'ing one of our members in the A over a charity raffle involving a gun. They were going to leave his account locked and keep the sender's money before he threatened legal repercussions. Check the link below.

PayPal is anti

This doesn't even seem legal. How can they dictate what you spend your own money on, even if it is in their account. That would be like my bank canceling my debit card for buying a gun with it. That seems like it should be in violation of some law somewhere. Its just wrong anyway you look at it. Your supporting their business by having an account with them, but you can only buy what they approve of? That's BS if I have ever seen it. It's like I'm 14 again and my mom has to approve what I buy. Just another way for a corporation to have control. The NRA should look into that, maybe they could find a way to either stop it, or tell gun owners and members what they are doing so people can stop using it and switch to GunPal. Or help GunPal be accepted at more places. I just hate when I'm told I can't do something for no reason. Makes my blood boil.

OK I just checked in and saw GUNPAL is now an option so I sent it in and now have a dealer membership. I've never before joined a club that would have me as a member so this is all new to me. Hopefully I won't get kicked out.
