the premise is there....i'll say that

those colors are soothing to the psyche, but not those dark "splotches" of whatever color that is. i going to guess he was trying for a non-threatening paint scheme. but yeah, i would have at least chosen flat matte paint.

at the end of the day, i wish i had the balls to go at a rifle with a couple of spray cans and a i don't give a shit attitude.

I’m no expert on identifying alcoholics, mostly because I’m usually too drunk to notice...

...but...

I guess spray painting is harmless as long as the rifles are clear...but maybe stay away from hand loading or quick draw practice in the mirror until it’s out of your system.

Absolutely not historically correct. Rhodesian "Baby Poop" is easy to identify and that Cerakote job is garbage. Amateur paint jobs are typically high gloss. These below are real ones and there's very close kits that approximate Rhodesian paint:
