Holster for my pickup truck - any ideas?

Looking for a good way to have my gun accessible while driving my pickup. I have an S&W snubbie. I mostly pocket carry and am looking for a cheap(like me, hee-hee) way to mount a holder or maybe a holster on the console. The gun is hard to get to if you leave it in your pocket or on your hip.

I was thinking of placing an ad in the classified for someone's cast away OWB holster and just screwing it to the front of the console. Probably an old holster with a strap, so the gun doesn't pop out on a bumpy road. I'm a newbie and am looking for some ideas from you more experienced guys.

Get a cheap fobus type holster and screw it to something or use tie wraps if you really wanna rig it up.

I think your truck is a bit big to fit into a holster.

Fobus makes a car mount for any of their roto-holsters. Should be able to pick one up on eBay or such.

A riveted/grommeted kydex holster should be pretty easy to attach to the console or whatever. Just put screws through the rivets into the truck and you should be all set.
