I made a high reliability AR-15 magazine feed lip go/no-go gauge.

It's "high reliability" because I didn't appreciate the shortcomings of my caliper's "depth" gauge (or perhaps my lack of skill using it that way) and the fat part of the gauge is 0.004" thinner than it should be.

I saved myself $45 by making it instead of buying one from Brownells!

How you use it:

Nice, you working on a tool to get them back into spec also?
Now how much for one of these again?

Tempting, I'll have to find an old fat screwdriver to salvage.

Heh... $45 from Brownells. :) It was fun making one, but I'm not sure I want to be in the business of making them.
