The buyer for my 'scope just backed out. (Arrrgh !) [thinking]

Kindly undelete my ad for the 'scope and put it back.
 
That's what "SPF" means. If you get the funds, it's sold!

It's a bummer when that happens, someone having to back out of a deal, but it's life.

Or you could just say sold pending funds which means once you get the funds you can mark it something like "Item has been sold" so mods can then move/delete it which is the way things usually work... right? [thinking]

Like Jon said, it's history. Just think of it as "Deleted Pending Replacement".

Ray, we're lucky when anybody marks anything as sold. I actually meant to "soft delete" that post (which means we can get it back) but I hit the wrong button.

Unfortunately,the vast majority of people do not do this.

Same thing happened to me when I marked an item SPF,buyer backed out and I had to repost the ad a week later.

No biggy.
