I agree. $500 OR 14 days is too light......and that's the max. I'm sure the guy plead guilty and got next to nothing for a penalty.

The incident took place Jan 4 so rabbit....coyote ....was duck or goose open then (I'm not a waterfowler so don't know the season on those). Id love the details.....where it happened etc....

Looks like Bruce Lahey of River Street haverhill has been sued 3 times since 2006 for back rent lol

The statute does allow for a civil case seeking punitive damages. If the victim really wants to, he can go after him for that.
