The JAE-100, looks like in runs $600 without the handguard and 660 with. Look at this beauty!

Here is a photo with specs from their website (WARNING! it's a huge image so dial-up might weep at the amount of data)

and if OD green isn't your sort of thing, check out this, it's a photo of all the different available colors.

Do any of you own one of these, or have had any experience with them? I don't know about function, but they look amazing!

I have a sneaking suspicion if anyone owns one of these it's probably Fred! [smile]

Anyways, I saw this online last night and thought some of you might be interested.

I'm shot M1A's equipped with the stock. It has a built in bedding system but it is expensive and HEAVY. It is also in very limited supply.

The JAE is a sweet set-up...Though it looks neat-o, I'm not sure how functional it would be on a rifle designed for CQB. The one I used was mated with a Standard Loaded and let me tell you, it's bulky and heavy, but man does it hang onto the rifle nicely! I think it's great if you like to do long range bench/prone shooting, but hauling around this package for any length of time will strain your groin....

As for cost, I spent $675.00 on my Troy MCS and would do it again in a heartbeat. The accuracy gain, coupled with the functional gain was well worth the investment. The Troy MCS is not for everyone, (M1A/M14 purists cringe), but I absolutely love it.

I love the look of that stock and wanted to get one for my scout until I found out how heavy it was. [sad]
