I just received a phone call from the NRA notifying me of this, and asking me to bump up from a life membership to an endowment. With all that was going on in MA recently, I wasn't aware of this.
edit: I realized this was just a scare tactic to get me to give them more money. I mentioned to the solicitor that my attention was focused on the state Senate bill that would effectively end sales of these items in Massachusetts anyway and that all the work I could see from organized advocacy groups on this was local, and that the NRA had not helped out in this case. The solicitor said they had been working on it and information was on the NRA ILA page. I looked. They were mistaken. Most recent post there for MA was from last fall. No mention of S.2572.
