Gunshots reported at Princeton University's campus

Princeton University - UPDATE: All-clear issued; Police say report of Nassau Hall gunshots unfounded

The Princeton University Department of Public Safety issued an "all clear" message Tuesday night after Princeton Police searched Nassau Hall and determined that a report of gunshots in the building was unfounded.

Police had cordoned off Nassau Hall after the University Department of Public Safety received a report of what were believed to be shots fired around 7:55 p.m. A search of the building turned up no evidence of any shots. No one was hurt.

Officers from the West Windsor, Plainsboro and Lawrence police departments and the Mercer County Sheriff also responded to the incident. The University sent out an emergency alert informing the University community about the incident and asking people to stay away from the area.

Campus operations returned to normal once Public Safety issued the "all clear" message about 10:30 p.m.

I grew up 10 minutes from there, put myself through x-ray school delivering pizza in that area. The level of moonbattery is the same or more than in Boston. I have no doubt that somebody popped a paper bag to scare a friend, and somebody else heard uzis. Nassau Hall is one of the oldest buildings on campus, it echoes like you wouldn't believe.
